Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of PetIdol (petidol.party), a service operated by [Operator legal name] (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or buying credits you agree to these terms.

1. The service

PetIdol turns photos of your pets into short AI-generated videos based on templates. Each video is about 10 seconds long at 480p and includes AI-generated background music. Videos are produced by third-party AI models, so results vary and may contain imperfections.

2. Accounts

You sign in with a Google account. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the European Economic Area) to use the service.

3. What you may upload

• Only photos you took yourself or have the right to use.
• Photos of animals only. Photos that show people are not allowed and are rejected — we do not create videos of real people.
• Nothing illegal, violent, sexual, hateful or otherwise harmful, and nothing that infringes others’ rights.

We may refuse, stop or delete any generation that breaks these rules, and suspend accounts that abuse the service.

4. Your content

You keep the rights to the photos you upload. You give us permission to store and process them, including by our AI processing providers, only to make your videos and run the service. You may use the videos you generate for personal and commercial purposes, provided your use complies with these terms and the law.

5. Credits and payment

Videos are paid for with credits. Credit packs are one-time purchases, not subscriptions. Credits are valid for 12 months from purchase, cannot be transferred and have no cash value. Each template shows how many credits it uses before you generate. If a generation fails, its credits are returned to your balance automatically.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Paddle’s Buyer Terms apply to your purchase. Prices are shown in US dollars; applicable sales tax or VAT is calculated at checkout.

6. Refunds

Refunds are described in our Refund Policy.

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change or discontinue templates and features. If we discontinue the service, we will refund unused credits from purchases made in the previous 12 months.

8. Disclaimer and liability

The service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be excluded.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If changes are significant we will tell signed-in users before they take effect. Continued use after an update means you accept the new terms.
