Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 28, 2026
This policy explains what personal data PetIdol (petidol.party), operated by [Operator legal name], collects and how it is used. Contact us at support@petidol.party with any privacy question.
What we collect
- Account data: your email address and name from Google Sign-In.
- Photos and videos: the pet photos you upload and the videos we generate for you. Before upload, your browser re-encodes photos, which removes embedded metadata such as GPS location.
- Purchase records: credit balance and order references. Card and billing details are collected by Paddle, not by us.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type and request logs, used for security and to keep the service running.
How we use it
To provide the service (sign-in, generating and storing your videos, keeping your credit balance), to process payments through Paddle, to prevent abuse, and to answer support requests. We do not sell your data and do not use advertising trackers.
Who processes it
- Cloudflare — hosting, database and file storage.
- Volcano Engine (ByteDance) — AI video generation. Your photos and the template instructions are sent to its servers in mainland China to generate the video.
- Paddle — payments, invoicing and tax, as Merchant of Record. See Paddle’s privacy notice.
- Google — sign-in.
These providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States and China. We share only what each provider needs to do its job.
How long we keep it
- Uploaded photos: deleted 7 days after upload.
- Generated videos: deleted 30 days after creation — download the ones you want to keep.
- Account and purchase records: while your account exists, and longer where tax law requires it.
Cookies
We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in and a short-lived cookie during Google Sign-In. Paddle’s checkout may set its own cookies when you buy credits.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and everything in it by emailing support@petidol.party. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to object to processing or to complain to your data protection authority.
Children
The service is not intended for children under 13 (16 in the European Economic Area).
